Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God
Matthew 5:8
– Jesus feels joy seeing God as He is pure in heart, virtuous & chaste
– He serves with sincere love for others, without self-interest, enabling Him to see God in others & see others with God’s eyes & heart
– Jesus doesn’t give in to temptations of lust, greed, or status-seeking
– As He helps others’ in their divine development, there is more of God He can see in them
